Cheese is international. And at Zijerveld, we are happy to emphasise that. The International Markets unit focuses particularly on the foreign retailers, cheese trade and the market trade. Inside the European Union, we focus on Germany, Spain and Scandinavia. But we also supply cheese to the United States, Eastern Europe and Japan, amongst others.
The aim of the International Markets market unit is to translate our knowledge – such as the freshness concept, the wholesale concept and the cheese shop concept used in the Netherlands – to other countries. Zijerveld provides knowledge, flexibility and private label opportunities. This means we are also the ideal international partner for cheese.
